In February 2011 a conference was held by the Australian and New Zealand Meteorological societies in conjunction with the Australian Oceanographic Society, on the subjects of Extreme Weather in the Australasian region, Climate Change, Oceanography, Natural Catastrophes and the impact of all of the above on our environment and way of life.
Held in Wellington New Zealand, the conference was attended by people from both sides of the Tasman.
